🎃 Carve a "FUNKIN" - a faux pumpkin – at Crank Arm Brewing!

We'll have plenty of free patterns to choose from, and all the tools you need to carve a faux pumpkin – just B.Y.O. pumpkin! Feel free to bring your own advanced tools if you prefer.

Get a 9" or 13" (recommended) hollow, faux pumpkin. You can order online at one of these retailers: 🎃 MICHAEL'S Craft Store (on sale @ ~$15 – best option) 🎃 WALMART (~$15) 🎃 TARGET (~$15) 🎃 AMAZON (~$35 😳 - same brand as Michael's; more expensive, but faster shipping)

Note: The 13" craft pumpkin will give you more real estate to carve larger patterns. ********************************************************** There will be 5 extra pumpkins available for purchase @ $20 each. First come, first served. **********************************************************

You'll need a flickering light bulb or a battery operated candle - no real candles or flames! You can buy this before or after the pumpkin carving.

Amanda is the organizer for this event and our weekly Craft & Draft meetups at Crank Arm Brewing. She is a long-time crafter and has carved faux pumpkins over the last ~15 years, with the goal of filling her porch and yard with Jack-o-lanterns for Halloween! Check the photos for this event to see some examples of her work. Most of the well-known character patterns are from Zombiepumpkins.com.
