Día de los Muertos Community Altar – Opening Ceremony

Recordar es mantenerlos vivos. To remember is to keep them alive. 🧡🌼

This Día de los Muertos, Latinos of Montclair invites the whole community to remember and celebrate our loved ones at a public ofrenda at Lackawanna Station.

Artists Adrián Viajero Román and Matthew Marroquin are building the altar, which will be open to everyone October 30 – November 2. Bring a photo, a memory, or a marigold, and add your loved one to the altar.

Join us as we open the altar together at a free, family-friendly ceremony.
