Willi Amrod has been playing, writing, and singing original music in the Hudson Valley, the East Coast, and parts of Europe for over 50 years. He started his recording career in 1968 playing bass in Amrod’s Brand , and recording for both Sire and BT Puppy records.

Willi has opened shows for Janis Joplin, Paul Butterfield Blues Band, NRBQ, Levon Helm , Rick Danko, Hot Tuna, and many others. He has also recorded dozens of his original songs with the likes of PeeWee Ellis, Fred Wesley, Maceo Parker, and Martha High (all of James Brown fame), as well as members of NRBQ, Gary Burke, John Platania, Professor Louie, and Gary Winters.

Amrod released his latest album, “Thanks to the Music", in May 2026.
