About the Presenter: Jazz music is often hailed as one of America’s original art forms. The Annapolis Jazz Collective plays tribute to this broad style of music by showcasing songs that have captivating harmonies, energetic rhythms, and creative improvisation. Each of the musicians in The Annapolis Jazz Collective have spent many years sharing this music with audiences around the greater Annapolis, Baltimore, and DC area, playing venues as diverse as jazz supper clubs in DC, to providing inspirational music at a local farmers market. Be transported as they perform through many of the best jazz tunes ever written while walking through the history of jazz.
