Celebrate 'Day of the Dozens' at Krispy Kreme on this 3.8mile easy walk that is paved & relatively flat. Pace: 3mph. The trek primarily parallels Ballenger creek, spurring through a neighborhood along the way.

Grab a donut and/or hot beverage to enjoy with listening to the wintery wanders of Ballenger creek, which is named for an early settler. After a "garage door tour" detour the walk terminates at a confluence with at the Arundel branch/ stream.

Latter of the circuit vacates from this delta then pauses at a verdant vista. A frolic by a faint farmhouse follows before concluding through an irritating electrical alley.

NOTES= 1. Trail Forecast: MAP | Street shoes/ sneakers ok. Bundle up-- should be cold! 2. Krispy Kreme offers plentiful indoor seating. 3. Footnote: A favorite donut eatery of mine was Krumpe's (Hagerstown), but I think my new favorite is Big Belly Deli (Sykesville). Where else is a delectable donut served?
