CCE is proud to announce the 7th annual "Spread Love" Thanksgiving Community Event, taking place on Thursday, November 26, 2026 from 10am-2pm.

Dedicated to fostering warmth, connection, and equity, CCE will open its doors for a warm community Thanksgiving dinner while operating a widespread mobile delivery initiative to ensure no neighbor goes without a hot meal.

At the heart of CCE’s mission is a deep commitment to giving back to the vibrant community that supports its creative and cultural programs year-round. Thanksgiving serves as a meaningful opportunity to reflect on life’s blessings and extend support to community members facing barriers during the holiday season.

Through the "Spread Love" initiative, CCE volunteers will deliver nutritious, hearty Thanksgiving dinners directly to homes throughout Ulster County. This delivery service is designed to serve:

Older adults and seniors who face mobility challenges or cannot leave home easily.

Individuals with disabilities who require accessible meal options or home-delivery assistance.

Single parents and caregivers who may find traveling or preparing a full holiday meal difficult.

Anyone across Ulster County and surrounding areas facing transportation obstacles or financial hardship this holiday season.

"Thanksgiving is fundamentally about gratitude, inclusion, and uplifting one another," said a spokesperson for the Center for Creative Education. "Our local community gives so much to us every day. 'Spread Love' is our way of ensuring that every neighbor—regardless of their physical mobility, financial circumstances, or family situation—can enjoy a warm, wholesome meal surrounded by the spirit of care and togetherness."
